Here are some of the African countries with the fastest-growing economies in 2024, according to 2024 first quarter report by the African Development Bank titled Macroeconomic Performance and Outlook (MEO)

1. Niger: 11.2% growth projection, Niger is expected to have the fastest-growing economy in Africa in 2024.

2. Senegal: 8.2% growth projection, Senegal is expected to have the second-fastest-growing economy in Africa in 2024.

3. Libya: 7.9% growth projection, Libya is expected to have the third-fastest-growing economy in Africa in 2024.

4. Rwanda: 7.2% growth projection, Rwanda is expected to have the fourth-fastest-growing economy in Africa in 2024.

5. Côte d’Ivoire: 6.8% growth projection, Côte d’Ivoire is expected to have the fifth-fastest-growing economy in Africa in 2024.

6. Ethiopia: 6.7% growth projection, Ethiopia is expected to have the sixth-fastest-growing economy in Africa in 2024.

7. Benin: 6.4% growth projection, Benin is expected to have the seventh-fastest-growing economy in Africa in 2024.
