ILAJI Stadium and Resorts Centre, Ibadan, again, on Wednesday, lived up to its testimonial by treating fun seekers from different parts of the Ibadan metropolis and its environs to a gala in commemoration of this year’s Boxing Day.
Alao-Akala betrayed agreement with Ajimobi on 2019 ambition — Oyo APC Chairman
It was a carnival-like atmosphere at the entertainment and recreation outfit, located in Akanran, Ona-Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State, as fans and well-wishers of tungba music creator, Dr Yinka Ayefele (MON), thronged the facility to catch a glimpse of the Ipoti-Ekiti born musician.
Dr Ayefele, who arrived at the multi-billion naira outfit as early as 10.00 a.m., charged the atmosphere with various melodious tunes to delight of his audience.
The show, which was the fourth to be organised this year by Chief Dotun Sanusi, the Chief Executive Officer of Ilaji Stadium and Resorts Centre, brought out the best from Yinka Ayefele and his band of Merrymakers.
The award-winning musician, upon arrival at the resorts centre, commended Chief Sanusi for embarking on such a gutsy venture which, according to him, other well-to-do people would consider as not lucrative.
He predicted it was only a matter of time before the facility would become a mecca for fun seekers within and outside Oyo State.
Dignitaries that graced the gala include members of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), led by their President-General, Prince Yemi Soladoye; the chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government Area, Mr Buliaminu Ogundele; chairman of Ido Local Government Area, Honourable Wahab Oladejo and the member of the House of Representatives for Irepo/Orelope/Olorunsogo Federal Constituency, Honourable Bosun Oladele.
