2019 Tabieorar Revelations:
The LORD says, the year 2020 is a year of reward and mixed fortunes. It’s a Year of regret, shame and sorrow for the wicked and evil doers, but a Year of joy, comfort and contentment for the upright in Christ Jesus. My reward is coming quickly and everyone will be rewarded accordingly, whether good or bad. I AM the Alpha and Omega, says the Lord God Almighty of the Holy Mount Tabieorar.
Quite a number of burning issues affecting the polity keep coming to the fore, calling for urgent attention by the Federal and State Governments, and indeed all stakeholders. The of God does not exist in a vacuum and therefore has the duty to SPEAK TRUTH TO POWER at times like this:
Xenophobic attacks: Don’t retaliate, protect South Africans, Adeboye…
Corruption
Corruption remains the hydra headed monster that has eaten deep into the socio- economic and political fabric of our society. Corruption and wickedness have become Nigeria’s best thriving industries. They indeed factors responsible for the woes of this country. The need to combat it aggressively has become more imperative. If we can effectively fight corruption over half of our challenges will be over. Government must not relent in it’s efforts so far, as corruption will definitely try to fight back. All and sundry should be involved in the fight against corruption and Perpetrators should be prosecuted and dealt with in accordance with the law.
“Righteousness exalts a nation, sin is a reproach.” (Proverbs 14:34). Therefore, all perpetrators should be brought to book, while efforts must be intensified to recover all our looted monies abroad.
In conclusion Nigeria is a blessed country rich in human and natural resources. It is important for these to be properly and adequately harnessed for the good of all through good governance. We must continue to pray for our country. All hands must therefore be on deck to move our nation forward so that Nigeria can occupy her rightful place in the comity of nations. I hereby appeal to all and sundry to join the present administration in its fight against corruption.
Economy
The Federal Government’s policy of Diversification of the Economy, if properly implemented will go a long way in improving the economy especially in the area of Agriculture and Mineral resources. The value chain in these sectors will create employment and generally boost the economy. Similarly Provision of adequate infrastructure, power, good road network healthcare facilities are cardinal. The ongoing railway projects should be completed early, while the policy of the Ease of Doing Business should be pursued more vigorously in order to attract more investors. For instance, electricity all over the world is to national development what blood is to human body. Therefore, adequate provision of power is cardinal for any sustainable development.
Peace and security
The disturbing state of security in the country despite all government efforts has made it necessary for the government to review the security architecture of the country since the primary function of government all over the world is to protect the lives and property of their citizens, it behoves on the government to go the extra mile, as it is now clearly required to bring to an end the continued wanton destruction of lives and property, senseless killings of innocent worshippers and burning down of places of worship, and maiming of citizens by insurgents. I hereby urge the Federal Government and Federal Legislators to consider the decentralization system of policing by introducing Regional/Zonal and State/Community Police to deliver more effective and efficient service. Life is divine, precious and sacred, and no one has the right to terminate it with impunity. I wish to emphasize that there can be no meaningful or sustainable development without peace.
Restructuring
The time is ripe for Nigeria to be restructured in order to ensure good governance, fairness, equity, justice, peaceful co-existence and economic development. Fiscal Federalism is the major antidote for many woes confronting NIGERIA. With Fiscal Federalism in place, all the Regional violent groups will seize to exist, as they will not want to destroy the economy of their Region/Zone. I hereby urge the Federal Government and the National Assembly to promote Fiscal Federalism, and Regional/Zonal integration and healthy competition among the component units of the Federation.
Rural grazing area (Ruga)
The idea of Rural Grazing Areas, popularly called RUGA settlement mooted by a Government agency was another cause for worry by many Nigerians. It’s therefore appreciated that the Government took action to reverse the RUGA project by suspending it. However, the project should be abrogated, since animal farming is a private business. The way to go is ranching and it is the duty of the owners of the business to buy land for ranching.
I hereby call on the Federal Government in conjunction with the National Assembly to consider the report of the 2014 National Conference and others alike to find a lasting solution. Unity in Diversity should be used as a source of great strength.
Unemployment
The high rate of unemployment, especially among the youth remains a source of concern. I hereby urge the Government to vigorously diversify the economy and use agriculture, mining and manufacturing sectors to reverse the trend of mass unemployment.
Violence against women and children
All forms of violence such as rape, discrimination, gender inequality and Child Abuse cases are on the increase. These problems need to be tackled decisively through appropriate legislations, in line with the United Nations conventions. We must say ‘No’ to violence against women and children. I hereby urge all and sundry to continue to intercede for Nigeria that peace of God may reign supreme, and for adequate security and good governance, so that the teeming masses can enjoy the dividends of democracy. Nigeria will be reformed, and have good progress and success.
God bless Nigeria!
