THE grand finale of the 2019 Udiroko Festival, the most important cultural festival in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State holds on Tuesday.
The festival with ‘Enforcing and sustaining the solidity of our history, culture and tradition’ as its theme began on Monday, August 12.
Activities including fitness walk, lecture, health talk, traditional game (ayoolopon and draft) competition, beauty pageant, Jumat prayers and presentation of gifts to the Kabiyesihave all been held during the festival which marks the beginning of a new year and commemorates the founding of the city in 1300 AD.
