Troops, NDLEA raid, recover arms from drug baron in AbiaFollowing a tip-off, troops of Sector 1, Sub Sector 4 in conjunction with some  operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement  Agency (NDLEA), at about 1.45 am on Saturday, raided the house of an allegedly notorious drug baron Maxi Ota Benjamin, now at large. Benjamin reportedly resides in Amirima Compound, Achara Ihechiowa community in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State.

During the raid, four suspected accomplices of the alleged drug baron were apprehended from the compound.

Items recovered from the building include one short single barrel gun, one long single barrel gun, one automatic pump action rifle, one locally made double barrel pistol, one binocular and two mobile phones of Intel and kismo brands. Others are some substance suspected to be indian hemp. The suspects and the substance have been handed over to NDLEA for further action.
