Treating cancer with cassava

My 40-year-old wife has cancer of the breast. Although she has been offered an array of treatment regime including surgery, I am very worried of that line of treatment. I read recently of cassava as a very good treatment for cancer. Kindly help me with this.

Research has confirmed that certain plants produce deadly cyanide to protect themselves from insect attack. Cassava, with its high production of cyanide is one of such plants. It is this cyanide that is being used in experiments to kill cancer cells in humans. The great advantage of cyanide as an anti cancer drug is that cancer cells would be unlikely to develop resistance to it, as happened with most cancer-killing drugs used in chemotherapy. Even though cyanide use in cancer therapy holds promise, but it could take another three or four years’ research before it could be used on patients.
