TotalEnergies Nigeria has announced the winners of the fourth edition of its 2024 Startupper of the Year Challenge.
The local winners of this special edition were honored during an official prize-giving ceremony in Lagos, held in celebration of the company’s centenary.
This followed the selection by a local and international jury of the 100 winners of the Startupper of the Year Challenge across 32 participating countries.
The three local winners in Nigeria are Temitope Yakubu, Jacob Abiodun, and Emmanuel Abah.

The company’s statement read:
To support the development of their projects, the company announced that each of these young entrepreneurs would receive an N8 million grant, along with personalized support to advance their projects and enhance local visibility.
“In Nigeria, 5,906 applications were submitted, with 1,540 successfully completing the application process. From these, the top 100 projects were selected; 14 finalists pitched their projects to a local panel of experts, from which the top three winners emerged,” the company stated.
