On February 10, 2025, Murther studio at Birmingham, United Kingdom witnessed a sonic takeover as it played host to various disc jockeys and a sonic performance from Afrobeats superstar, Tayhmie Black, the immersive concert finds her switching between genres, she performed song from her Mostly Cloudy EP which was released in 2023.
The ambience exudes a good vibe with the people having the best time of their lives . The event which started at 4 PM, ended at 11 pm. Beyond Tayhmie Black music performance, other performers were DJs like DJ Holy, DJ Denny Hus, DJ 6IX, DJ Soft, Cerro, DJ Quan, DVJ Duez, DJ Ria and more.
The event brought together some of the most promising performers in music, disc jockeys bridging the gap between mainstream sound and underground soul.
Tayhmie Black followed with a live set that was equal parts meditative and magnetic. Her signature blend of Afro-fusion and melodic storytelling was on full display through songs like “Turn On the Lights” and “Cloudy.” Her vocal clarity, combined with intentional pauses and crowd connection, made for one of the night’s most emotionally rich moments.
The arrays of DJs on set played a myriad of genres, blending in styles and sound for the listening pleasure of the people.
The organizers of the Afro Circle Event have continued to give opportunity to talented individuals, the event has become an opportunity for them to showcase themselves, connect with other industry players and also sharpen their sonic skills.
