The governor stated this in his remarks during PDP stakeholders’ meeting held at Government House, Sokoto.
Tambuwal reiterated the meeting was convened to dispel insinuations of an imaginary rift among the party leaders in the state.
He pointed out such rumours were being circulated to create doubts in the minds of the people of Sokoto state against the party.
The Governor, therefore, stressed that the leadership of PDP in the state is solidly united, and focused.
He further assured his administration commitment to operating open door policy and welcome constructive suggestions that, could lead to the party’s victory during the general elections at all levels.
Earlier the former Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa reaffirmed the unity of PDP in Sokoto State.
The former two-term Governor of the state explained that there is no any misunderstanding between him and Governor Tambuwal adding such rumours are false and baseless and appealed to the people of the state to continue to rally round Governor Tambuwal in his efforts to reposition the economy of the state.
Bafarawa further said that they could do so by mobilising the electorates to vote massively for the PDP candidates during the forth coming elections.
The meeting was attended by the state PDP Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Milgoma, party Chieftain, Alhaji Umaru kwabo AA, commissioners and other senior government officials.
