I want to know why people with Heart Problems usually have swollen feet

Swollen legs and feet are a symptom of heart failure. If someone has a build-up of fluid (oedema) due to heart failure, the only way to get rid of this is through the kidneys, by taking diuretic to make them pass urine more frequently. Leg swelling may appear to ease if the person is lying down but this doesn’t mean the fluid has gone, it’s just moved to a different place.
Legs swell more throughout the day because the person is upright and the excess fluid pools at the lowest level. Persistently swollen feet in any situation is an urgent call for a proper medical evaluation.
