“Before you can transform your wallet from poor to rich, you’ve got to transform your spirit from poor to rich” – Robert Kiyosaki
The richest place on earth is not the graveyard or mortuary. The richest place on earth is the entrepreneur’s heart. Rich people reach people! Thoughtful people touch lives! Entrepreneurship should not just be about creating values, it should be everything about creating a better world. Spiritual entrepreneurs strive to positively impact the world, not only in terms of financial success but also in terms of spiritual growth and the betterment of humanity. They aim to create businesses that serve both profit and purpose. “Spiritual entrepreneurship combines business principles with a deep spiritual connection and purpose. It is a path where individuals create and run businesses while aligning their values and practices with their spiritual beliefs.” It involves individuals who seek to integrate their spiritual beliefs and values into their entrepreneurial ventures. This approach goes beyond the conventional pursuit of profit. It is essentially a pursuit of purpose. Purpose is about fulfillment. Fulfillment is the greatest achievement to a spiritual entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship is a calling. The calling requires a deep sense of purpose. Passion may load the gun, but purpose pulls the trigger. Entrepreneurial purpose transcends problem-solving, innovation, value-creation, opportunity-finding and technology application. Entrepreneurship is a spirit; leadership is its soul while society is its body. Without the spirit, the body is dead. The entrepreneurial spirit which is otherwise known as the spirit of creativity is the building block of the society. Without creativity, society will be lifeless. It is important to understand that with respect to spiritual entrepreneurship, the entrepreneurial spirit is essentially characterized by the spirit of positivity. Spiritual entrepreneurs are positive individuals who use their creative ability to advance and enhance the society. The spirit of positivity is that aspect of an entrepreneur that aligns with the entrepreneur’s spiritual path and contributes to the well-being of individuals and society. Whatever maligns societal growth and development is “anti-SE” (against Spiritual Entrepreneurship).
Spiritual entrepreneurship has more to do with the spiritual character rather than the mental capacity of the entrepreneur. Spiritual Entrepreneurship is a function of the entrepreneur – SE = f (e)
Spiritual Entrepreneurship is everything about inspiration. Inspiration is energy. Energy is the prime mover of the society. Spiritual entrepreneurs are inspired leaders who take their calling passionately and purposefully, making the world a better place for mankind. Spiritual Entrepreneurs are energetic, visionary, humble and selfless leaders. They go about with positive energy and influence the people around them positively. To them, happiness is business. Without spiritual entrepreneurs, the world will be chaotic.
The power to become somebody and somebody becoming powerful are the two major events that play out in the affairs of men. Human beings in their unquenchable thirst for power can, and will, do anything to reach the status of influence. This insatiable lust for dominance and power has sadly led to cultism, hatred, alcoholism, occultism and seduction (CHAOS) in society. The rate at which our young ones are being initiated into secret societies is alarming. Instead of xenophilia, xenophobia has become the order of the day. “Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.” People are given to alcohols and drugs in their quest to get their physical, mental and most times, sexual energies enhanced and wild. Ritual killings and witchcraft are fast replacing honest toil and faith in God while serious seduction displayed and advertised on social media and in uncensored contents keep trapping destinies and truncating lives, all in a bid for desperate entrepreneurs to dominate the business world. The world is in its present state of chaos due to misuse and abuse of energy and its consequent effects on society. Have you ever wondered why someone would kill a human being for rituals? Have you seen the desperation of some people to “make it” at all cost without regards to human and societal dignity? The chaos being introduced by these unclean energy sources is more subtle and dangerous than climate change which gives us its tipping point. One aspect of spiritual entrepreneurship is the emphasis on personal growth and self-awareness. Spiritual entrepreneurs recognise the importance of inner development and seek to align their thoughts, beliefs, and actions with their higher purpose, including practicing mindfulness, meditation and other spiritual techniques to understand oneself and the world better. A great and admirable society is inspiration-driven. Spiritual entrepreneurs prioritize the well-being of others and the planet. They strive to create businesses that positively impact society and the environment, which can manifest in various ways, such as offering products or services that promote holistic well-being, supporting sustainable practices, or actively contributing to social causes.
Three ways to function as a spiritual entrepreneur:
- Connection
This has to do with the spiritual, intellectual as well as emotional capacity to operate at a frequency beyond the human realms. It is the allowance for divinity to take hold of the human nature. Most great inventors, creators and curators operate in this realm. They simply connect to “collect.” They collect divine intellect and use it to transform their world!
- Separation
This is the practice of staying away from people and things that drain energy. These include negative habits, destructive criticisms, hatred, envy, etc. You can only draw raw inspiration when you withdraw from the world, through separation. Your ability to guard your heart determines your stability in life. Do not play with those that condemn; avoid them like a plague.
- Integration
This is probably the best way to derive and drive inspiration. It is the art of compassionately staying close to, and interacting with people to feel what they feel (empathy) and also staying close to God to be able to solve people›s problems and meet their needs. This action is often demonstrated by labour leaders who have genuine compassion for workers and are always fighting for the rights of people and pleading their cause with the constituted authorities.
