Shettima to inaugurate National Land Administration Conference Wednesday

Nigeria’s Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima is expected to declare open a three-day National Land Conference in Abuja.

The Conference with the theme: ‘Reforming land governance for sustainable development in Nigeria’, was organised by National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in collaboration with Johnbull Amayaevbo Foundation.

According to a statement issued by Professor Sola Adeyanju, the conference is scheduled to hold between Wednesday, 26th to Friday, 28th March, 2025.

He said: “The National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru is Nigeria’s apex Think-Tank, research and training institute. It serves as a high-level Centre for training, research, reflection and dialogue.

“As part of its activities, the Institute organises conferences to address pertinent issues in the country to bring policymakers, executors and other stakeholders drawn from different sectors of the country.

“As Nigeria’s foremost think-tank and policy institute interested in the sustainable development of our nation, we are compelled to address this pressing challenge facing land administration in Nigeria.

“Thus, the National Institute in collaboration with Johnbull Amanaevbo Foundation (JAF), a non-governmental organization dedicated to advancing sustainable development through thought leadership, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement is hereby inviting you to a 3-Day National Stakeholders Summit.
