Abubakar Bukola Saraki Foundation, in partnership with a non-profit organization, WimBiz, has planned a one-day women entrepreneurial training programme for Kwara State women.
A statement by the Press Officer on Home Matters to Saraki, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, said that the training programme will hold on Thursday in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.
The statement said that the programme is designed to provide women entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge required to start, grow, and scale their businesses.
“The training is part of the interventions by the Abubakar Bukola Saraki Foundation (ABS Foundation) to ensure that our women upscale their businesses to be able to survive in this prevailing economic situation.
“This is a great opportunity for women to learn from experts, network with other entrepreneurs, and get the support they need to succeed in business,” he said.
The statement noted that the programme is open to all women entrepreneurs, regardless of their experience level or industry.
It, however, added that due to the limited number of spaces available, applicants will be shortlisted based on the information provided in their registration forms.
The statement said applicants can still register for the programme, by visiting the portal.
“Successful applicants will be shortlisted and contacted via SMS,” he added.
