The PDP Presidential aspirant, who had come to campaign to the delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), ahead of the presidential primary election of the party contended that it is time for Nigerians to rediscover themselves and chat a new course in the interest of the people.
“The people of this country need to man their resources and that is what restructuring is all about. If we do this, that becomes the autonomy of the people of Nigeria.

“I am championing the policy of restructuring because it is fundamental to the economic prosperity of the nation. A nation’s economy whose GDP was growing at Six percent was crashed into recession and it is now at the bottom of Africa.
“Every socio-economic indicator shows that we are at the bottom, he said. Atiku promised to build an international Airport in Anambra State adding that every State in the federation deserves an international Airport.
The State Chairman of the party, Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu, in his welcome address, urged the hopeful aspirant to run an inclusive government for the interest of generation to come if he eventually emerged the president of Nigeria in the forthcoming 2019 general elections.
