The call was made during a visit to the state governor by the leadership of the religious body, led by its state chairman, Reverend Ayuba Kanta.
Kanta also drew the attention of the government to poor infrastructure, such as the road in Badariya area of the metropolis, which houses a majority of churches in Birnin-Kebbi, the state capital.
He said the re-introduction of CRK in schools would enable the church and Christian families to inculcate moral values in their children for a greater community where the fear of God would reign.
The Christian body also appealed to the state government to provide it with plots of land as cemetery.
He stated that Christians in the state, over the years, did not have such facilities as the military cemetery was what they were using, a gesture which the military authorities had revoked, as civilians were not allowed there any longer.
The governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, in his response, assured that appropriate steps would be taken to address all the issues they raised.
He called for religious harmony towards building a united society where value system would be the vision.
