IN continuation of campaigns ahead of February 23 and March 9 elections respectively, Hon. Labaran Maku, Nasarawa State Governorship Candidate under the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has called on electorates to vote and protect their votes.
Maku, who made the call on Tuesday while addressing supporters at Lokogoma, Yelwa, Nakuse among other communities in Toto Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.
Stressing that the call became imperative given to what the people in the state have gone through in the past where election results were manipulated.
“Electorates this time around must not vote and go home and sleep like it was in the past.

“If you vote on the election day, you should stay and follow the vote until the final result is announced.
“Everybody who votes should follow from polling unit, toward, to the state capital until the person that wins is declared,” he added.
He also assured to address the crisis rocking Bass a and Egbura communities of Toto LGA within his one month in office.
Maku said that his government would put machinery on the ground towards addressing insecurity in all parts of the state so that the people would go about their activities without fear.
Maku therefore also called on the international communities to beam their searchlight in the state in order to prevent the planned rigging.
