A huge crowd welcomed the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna, on Thursday.
Clad in different PDP attires, supporters from the 23 local government councils of the state started trooping to the famous Ahmadu Bello stadium as early as 7:00 am.
“All the promises made by APC to bring change in Nigeria has not been achieved for the past three years they have been steering the affairs of this country.”
He said, “the APC promised a robust economy, they promised to end insecurity but what do we have today? The North East and the North West have been bedeviled with so many problems of insecurity.”
Atiku assured that a PDP government will create wealth, end hunger and promote small scale businesses as well as unite the country.
To this end, the presidential candidate shouted to the excited crowd to repeat after him, “Buhari Must Go’ and the mammoth crowd exploded, “Buhari Must Go! Buhari Must Go!”
Earlier the Director General of the PDP presidential campaign council, Senator Bukola Saraki, said the three years of lies by the ruling party is over.
He said the time has come to vote for a better Nigeria as the present crop of leaders have failed and cannot be trusted with power.

Also, speaking at the grand rally, the PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus, remarked that never again will INEC rig elections in Nigeria, warning, “INEC you cannot rig this election.”
In his own remarks, the former vice president, Namadi Sambo, called on supporters to obtain their PVCs before the February 16 presidential election and after that, they should come out enmasse to vote for PDP.
