THE people with disabilities in Sokoto state have endorsed the re-election of Sokoto state Governor Rt hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal for a second term in office as the Governor of the state

The physically challenged persons made their position known under the Agis of PDP disabled mobilisation forum during an interactive session with the Governor held at youths development centre Sokoto.

The chairman of the forum, Aminu Mohammed mutawalle while assuring the Governor of their unflinching support thanked him for his concern to the improvement of the welfare of disabled persons in the state

He also requested the Governor if reelected to include physically challenged persons in the composition of Local government councils.

He on behalf of others thanked Governor Tambuwal for sustaining the payment of the monthly allowance to the disabled persons in the state and prayed Allah to reward him abundantly.

In his response, Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal thanked members of the forum for their support to his reelection bid and urged them to intensify effort in seeking for both western and Islamic education for self-reliance.

Tambuwal assured them that if reelected his administration would establish more skills acquisition centres for the training of both able and disabled on various trades. He described his administration as all-inclusive without discrimination on whatever basis

Governor Tambuwal assured that God willing if he emerged reelected his administration would consider their request for their inclusion in the composition of local government councils.

The occasion was attended by the state Deputy Governor Hon. Manir Dan-iya, former Governor, Athairu Bafarawa and other Senior Government officials.
