A former newspaper editor and retired bank executive, Mr Phil Aragbada, has described Abiodun Oyebanji’s one year in office as Ekiti state governor as impactful.
Aragbada, who lauded the leadership style of the governor, submitted that he has been able to turn the state around with people-oriented projects.
According to him, ‘While it is true that a year in office may be too brief to assess a four-year tenure, it is also right that this commendation will not only stimulate him and his team but will also infuse the needed energy to help him improve his performance.
As a man with a valiant pedigree, he has continued to dominate the political landscape of Ekiti State with subtle, traditional, but titanic authority, providing the governed with a brand of truthful, intellectual, courageous, noiseless, and indeed productive leadership that will steer Ekiti politics towards rectitude, glory, and amazing progress.
As a self-effacing altruist who has continued to bring relief to the good people of Ekiti, he remains a model of humility and modesty despite the abundant and visible favour of God.
With the immense natural resources in the state, it is incumbent upon him to turn Ekiti into an industrial hub that will ensure the story of his era is written in gold.”
