As the Returning Officers (ROs) take turn to present the electoral results from the 30 local government areas in the Saturday governorship poll in Osun at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) secretariat in Osogbo, the standard bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ademola Adeleke is leading in 10 out of 15 local governments in the state.
Though, the Returning Officer (RO) for the entire election exercise, who is also the Vice Chancellor (VC) of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), Professor Joseph Fuwape had not declared the winner of the poll, Nigerian Tribune findings indicated that results of Osogbo, Olorundan Ife East, Ife Central, Ede North, Egbedore, Ayedire and a few other local governments have not been presented by the electoral officers in these local councils.
