Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has launched online portals for Muslims and Christians intending to embark on pilgrimages to the holy lands in 2025.
The new system aims to make the application process simpler, more accessible, and efficient for all pilgrims in the state.
According to Hon. Aderibigbe Rasheed, Osun State Commissioner for Home Affairs, who oversees the state’s Pilgrims Boards, the newly adopted digital process will enhance the transparency and accountability of the Hajj and Jerusalem pilgrimage applications.
This step marks a significant advancement in the handling of pilgrimage processes within the state, ensuring smoother coordination and better service delivery.
Intending Muslim pilgrims are advised to apply through the dedicated portal at [muslimpilgrim.osunstate.gov.ng](http://muslimpilgrim.osunstate.gov.ng), while Christian pilgrims should submit their applications via [christianpilgrim.osunstate.gov.ng](http://christianpilgrim.osunstate.gov.ng).
This initiative underscores Governor Adeleke’s administration’s commitment to leveraging technology to improve governance and service delivery in Osun State.
Osun State government, according to the statement, “imploring members of the Public who are interested in the year 2025 Hajj pilgrimage should log on to muslimpilgrim.osunstate.gov.ng to Apply for 2025 Hajj. Christian Pilgrims should apply at christianpilgrim.osunstate.gov.ng”.
