The Senior Business Developer, Osmond Properties Limited, Mr Oluwafemi Ketiku has restated its company commitment to provide a safe space for investors and property buyers to access real estate deals with sophisticated media channels to bridge the home deficit across the country.
Ketiku said this on Friday during a media parley in the company’s head office in Lagos, adding that its organization is passionate about developing a strategy to tackle some of the challenges of housing depletion affecting the growth of the housing sector in Nigeria.
While fielding questions on how the problem of people masquerading as realtors to swindle people can be solved, Ketiku said, ”this is the job of the Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (LASERA) in Lagos and the ministry of housing in Nigeria. I assure you that there are laws against these extortions but there is no enforcement, so everyone does what they like. Real estate agencies have to be regulated to ensure that buyers and those in need of accommodation are not preyed upon viciously.”
“Our company is working to provide a sophisticated listing service that will connect potential buyers to the right real estate opportunities, alongside developing quality and affordable products tailored to customers specifications,” he added.
Reacting on their present projects, Ketiku said they are working on a residential development in the Lekki axis of Lagos, which they hope to deliver by next year, 2022.
