‘Magnifical’ is the fourth studio album by the multiple award-winning songster, who has continued to wax stronger as a force to reckon with in the nation’s music industry.
Produced by Dayo Olugbola, the glorious dance praise ‘Magnifical’ is the long-awaited and anticipated follow-up to ‘New Wine’ , which was released couple of months ago.
Hailed for his original style, awe-inspiring vocals and inimitable passion for gospel music, Omoobaorun Lekan Ogunyinka began his foray into music at a very young age with a passion for gospel music. His musical journey since then has seen influences from gospel, contemporary, R & B and Jazz music, with an underlying love for his Nigerian culture, highlife and afrobeat music.
‘Magnifical’ has hit tracks such as ‘Praise Him’, ‘Popular Demand’, ‘Appreciation’ and ‘Tribute to Ojaja 2’ amongst others. Speaking about the inspiration for ‘Magnifical’, Omoobaorun Ogunyinka says , “This song means a whole lot to me. It is a reflection of the incredible and indescribable nature of God. It speaks about the endless power of God and how life revolves around Him. I know it will serve as a medium for people to realise how mighty God is and feel the urge to worship and revere Him”.
According to the producer, Dayo Olugbola, the efforts put into both the audio and video of the fast-selling ‘Magnifical’ clearly showed that Omoobaorun has reinvented himself with thorough research works before the recording and eventual release of the album and video, adding that he was particularly happy about the new innovation put in by the ace-musician for the album to be a success story, which the whole world is celebrating today.
