There are indications that the late former governor of old Mid-West State, Dr Samuel Ogbemudia, will be buried any moment from now in line with his wishes that his body should not be put in the mortuary.
First son of the late Dr Ogbemudia, Samuel Ogbemudia (Jnr), dropped the hint at their Benin residence when he received the deputy governor of Edo State, Comrade Philip Shaibu, who paid them a condolence visit.
Ogbemudia (Jnr) stated that while the family has not finalised details of the burial, activities towards the burial will be kick-started on Tuesday.
Our reporter on Saturday observed that the debris in front of the gate leading to a mausoleum, where Dr Ogbemudia directed that he be buried and where his late mother was buried, had been cleared.
Meanwhile, more notable Nigerians have continued to condole with the family of the Ogbemudias over the death of their patriarch, Dr Samuel Ogbemudia.
