Officer, 4 missing soldiers, found in Borno

MILITARY search party on Saturday morning found four soldiers who had been declared missing in action, including the unit’s Commanding Officer.

They were declared missing in action after an ambush by Boko Haram  at Guro Gongon on Wednesday, 20 July, 2016.

Consequently, concerted efforts were initiated to search for and rescue them.

The measures included use of air assets, Special Forces and patrols.

Sunday Tribune was told that the officers and soldiers were in a stable condition but were moved to military medical facilities for medical care.
