I am a very active young man of 35 years of age. In the last few months, I have been hearing some noise in my two ears. Apart from the noise, I am otherwise very healthy. Kindly let me know what I should do about this.

FULL TEXT: President Buhari speaks on suspension of CJN Onnoghen
Our ears are always working, making tiny movements even when we can’t feel them. Most ear noises are harmless and don’t indicate any health issues. It is only when any of these ear noises lead to pain or are distracting you from normal life that you should be worried.
A common cause of noise in the ear is the presence of too much wax in the ear. Although a build up of earwax can cause earaches, itchiness, and decreased hearing in some cases, too much earwax can even cause odd noises in your ear, like a ringing or buzzing noise.
Other causes of noise in the ear are a malfunctioning ear tube as well as weak ear muscles. In addition, a thumping ear noise can also be caused by change in blood flow, exercise, pregnancy or an over active thyroid gland.
A thorough medical examination to include the ears and the Blood Pressure among others is very important for the treatment of this condition.
