Nasarawa govt to embark on renovation of NYSC hostels

nyscTHE Nasarawa State government has said modalities have been put in motion to renovate hostels of corps members at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp in Keffi.

Governor Umaru Tanko Al-makura, disclosed this on Thursday in Keffi, during the swearing-in ceremony of the 2017 batch B, stream 1 corps members.

The governor who was represented by his commissioner for Youths and Sports, Bamaiyi Anagba, said the move was to make the hostel conducive for the corps members serving in the state.

He also said that the state government has completed the rehabilitation of the parade ground and currently carrying construction of road network in the camp.

The governor, however, urged the corps members to use their service year to impact positively on the lives of people in the place of primary assignment.
