GOVERNOR Abdulahi Sule of Nasarawa State has on Wednesday set up seven-man taskforce committee to end the shortage of water supply in the state.
The Governor, while commissioning the committee at Government House, Lafia the state capital, tasked them to end the long lingering issues in the state’s own water board with the view of providing a complete uninterrupted water supply across 13 local government councils of the state.
” As part of our campaign to provide the people with basic social amenities, we are inaugurating these seven-man water taskforce committee.

” they are to look into the generic problems in the Nasarawa state water board and solve the alarming issues in there, they are to submit the report in two months time”, he added.
In his acceptance speech, chairman of the committee, Barr. Abdulakarim Kana, who was the former commissioner for water resources and the immediate past Attorney General of the state, thanked the Governor for finding them worthy to serve in the committee, assuring not betray the confidence reposed on them.
Other members include; Engr. Idris Muhammad, Sani Salihu, Yahaya Adams, Engr Simon Ibi, Engr. Umar Abduahi, and Ezekiel Auta.
