Q: Mr. Charles, can you tell us about your philosophy regarding business and life?
A: My philosophy is based on the principle that we become what we habitually think about. It all starts and ends in the Mind. I believe success is not just about making money but about positively impacting humanity. As an entrepreneur, I strive to create value and solve societal problems through my business.
Q: What inspired you to start ChaviD Properties Limited?
A: Our mission is to positively impact humanity, Real Estate is out vehicle of choice to help transmute that mission into its physical equivalent. I was also inspired by the need to address Nigeria’s housing deficit and contribute to the country’s sustainable development. Nigeria has a population of over 200Million people with an annual growth rate of 3.5% and a massive demand for housing. ChaviD Properties Limited is helping to mitigate that gap.
Q: What is your vision for the future of real estate in Nigeria?
A: My vision is to transform the real estate sector in Nigeria by promoting sustainable development and innovation. I believe technology can play a vital role in improving the industry and making it more efficient. We also need to focus on creating smart cities and communities that are environmentally friendly and provide a high quality of life for residents.
Q: What are your hobbies, and how do you balance them with your work?
A: In my free time, I read and I think, I enjoy traveling, and a good game of golf. Having hobbies and interests outside work is essential for maintaining a healthy work-life balance. It allows me to recharge my batteries and return to work with a fresh perspective. I also believe in delegating tasks to capable team members, which helps me to focus on the areas where I can make the most impact.
