THE Police in Ogun State has arrested a man suspected to be mentally sick, Lekan Adebisi, who killed two primary school pupils at Area J4 in Ijebu East Local Government Area of the State, on Wednesday morning.
The “madman” had on Monday morning, inflicted machete injury on the pupils, Sunday Obituyi and Mubarak Kalesowo, while they were playing on their school field, at St. John’s Anglican School, Agodo, in Ogun Waterside.
Tribune Online learnt that the alleged mentally deranged man was sighted while trying to make his way out of the area.
He was reported to have been attacked by angry youths in the area and was later handed over to the Police in Abigi.
The Police have been on the trail of the suspect since the incident happened on Monday.
