Malami spoke on Thursday during the oversight visit of the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters to the ministry’s headquarters in Abuja.
He said the ministry is blessed with a crop of dedicated and committed staff in the service of their father land.
“On the part of the management, I must assure you of our commitment to the prudent utilisation of all appropriated sums in line eith extant regulations.
“Our experience in 2017 have prepared us for greater progress as we move forward into the 2018 appropriation year,” he said.
Eariler the chairman of the committee David Umoru promised to continue to work with the ministry and parastals under it.
Parastatals that made presentations of their receipts and expenditure for 2017 include: the National Law Reform Commission, NAPTIP, NIALS, Nigerian Law School, the Nigerian Copyright Commission, and Legal Aide Council.
The agencies regretted the poor release of the capital components of their budget for the 2017 financial year.
