THE General Overseer of the Sanctuary of Christ Evangelical Church, (City of Refuge), Pastor Gbade Ojo, has lamented over the consistent challenges facing the country, especially the lack of adequate electricity, economic crisis, and fuel crisis, stressing that the challenges were as a result of the grossly incompetent of the country’s leaders.
Ojo, who is also a professor, stated this at his church auditorium, at Semi Nbio, along Lagos/Ibadan expressway, while speaking with Tribune Church News, on the forthcoming 25th anniversary of the church, adding that it was time, our leaders take the bull by the horn to make things right and put Nigeria on the right track for a positive change that will lead the nation to become productive and conducive for Nigerians.
The cleric noted that plans are in the top gear to host dignitaries and traditional rulers from all walks of life to celebrate the silver jubilee with the church, on May 26.
According to Ojo, the landmark anniversary will feature soul-lifting song ministrations, word ministrations, and ordination of pastors and deacons, among other activities.
The cleric also admonished Christians not to relent in their prayers for the leaders and the restoration of the nation despite the difficult situation of the country.
