In s statement signed by the Communication Department of the Centre, Ajose-Harrison, a seasoned human resource management professional and consummate capacity building expert, was an alumnus of the Universities of Ibadan and Lagos where he obtained both the Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Sociology and Master of Industrial and Labour Relations (MILR) respectively. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM). He is also a member of the Nigerian Industrial Relations Association (NIRA), the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) (NIM) and the Nigerian Institute for Training and Development (NITAD).
He presents about three decades practice experience in Public Service capacity building, research, learning and development and corporate planning. His work life started at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), where he cut his professional and practice teeth in learning and development, organisational development and research.
In 1997, he joined the services of the Lagos State Government as pioneer Head of Planning and Research at the Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC) Magodo. He rose through the ranks and became Director of Planning and Research providing leadership for the Centre’s corporate planning and research including training needs analysis, post-training impact assessments and publications, until his appointment as Acting Director-General by the State Government in May 2017.
