The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Kogi state, Musa Wada, has deplored the state of township roads in Abejukolo town, Ankpa-Abejukolo and other roads in the state.
He, however, promised to rebuild the roads when elected as governor.
Wada, who made this declaration during his visit to Olamaboro, Ankpa and Omala local government areas, described as pathetic the situation of local government workers in Kogi.
He said the situation would be reviewed as many of the victims were deliberately screened out at all levels which include the local government, state and pensioners

According to the PDP candidate, the people of the area should not be deceived by the current political aberration that brought about the area producing the deputy governor, saying Kogites have rights to ascend to any top political offices and social services.
He urged the people of Olamaboro to remain supportive of PDP’s manifesto and jettison the new “political sheriffs in town,l am known for coercion to achieve high political pedestal”.
Wada commended the people of Olamaboro for trooping out en masse despite the alleged threat from supporters and protagonists of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and threat to unleash mayhem on any of the PDP supporters that attend the event.
