Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has visited the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Olalekan Balogun, at his Alarere Palace in Ibadan of Friday.
The VP left the Olubadan palace around 11:30 am.
His visit to the traditional ruler preceded a meeting with his presidential support groups in the state.
Shortly after the meeting with the Olubadan, Osinbajo proceeded to the Ibadan Civic Center where he is meeting with the support groups.
At the meeting, a minute silence was observed for three former governors of Oyo State, Lam Adesina, Isiaka Ajimobi and Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala. Dignitaries at the event include Chief Osunbor, Senator Teslim Folarin, Chief Niyi Akintola, Senator Bulkachuwa, Babafemi Ojudu, and Oyo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Isaac Omodewu.
