In the wake of the #EndSARS protests and the loss of lives which attended the nationwide agitation, many musicians have continued to use their trade to react, while suggesting a way forward for the youth movement.
In the course of the past, popular artiste, Banky W released a single and dedicated it to people working actively to ensure that the voice of the youth counts in governance and politics
On the song entitled, Talk and do, Banky W features 2Baba, Timi Dakolo, Waje, Seun Kuti and LCGC to convey that the recent wave of protests should translate into tangible action from youths across the country.
“With everything going on in Nigeria and around the world, it feels so relevant for this right now. Actions speak louder than words. It’s time to talk and do. If you’ve been doing anything to be part of the solution, then hopefully this is your soundtrack. If you haven’t, then hopefully this is your inspiration,” Banky disclosed on Twitter.
The song has been widely accepted by youthful fans who have insisted on social media that the fight against police brutality and call for justice for people who lost their lives continue.
Banky W, who last released a studio album in 2013, also hinted that he has an album in the offing which will likely be released in the coming year.
