International communities have been urged to unite and declare the continued destruction of houses and killing of Palestinians by the Israelis a crime against humanity.
The leader of Al-Harakatul Islamiyyah, under the auspices of the Muslim Ummah in the South West, Mallam AbdulRazq Abdulwahab-Al-Amin, made the call while speaking with journalists in Ilorin, shortly after a procession to condemn the killings of Palestinians.
He emphasised that the international community should not perceive the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians as a Muslim or Christian issue but as a problem that affects all of humanity.
According to him, the position of the Nigerian Foreign Affairs Ministry in the crisis is not reflective of the sensitivity the issue deserves.
Mallam Abdulwahab-Al-Amin called on all champions of truth to completely boycott goods and services directly or indirectly connected to Israel in protest against their alleged acts of genocide.
He also urged Nigeria and other nations to sever diplomatic ties with Israel and recommended that Saudi Arabia reconsider establishing diplomatic ties with the Jewish state.
Mallam Abdulwahab-Al-Amin advised Middle Eastern countries to work towards ending the war under the banner of Islam rather than Arabism.
He further stated that the international community should hold Israel accountable for war crimes against the Palestinians.
The Muslim Ummah leader also expressed displeasure over negative comments made by a Christian leader regarding the Israeli attacks against the Palestinians.
Mallam Abdulwahab-Al-Amin called on Muslims to pray for an end to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
In his remarks, a member of the Islamic Movement, Mallam Muhammed Raji, expressed sadness over the continued suffering of the Palestinians.
He urged the international community to act urgently and put an end to the genocide taking place in the Palestinian territories.
Another member of Al-Harakatul Islamiyyah in Ilorin, Abdulfatah Isa Abu-Hannifa, stated that the killings of both Christians and Muslims in Palestine should be condemned, emphasising that people should not be killed based on their race or faith.
