Is this tuberculosis?

My 60-year-old uncle has been losing weight and coughing for the past three months. Our neighbours think he has Tuberculosis. If so, kindly let me know the type of drugs I should buy for him as I don’t have enough money to take him to the hospital

Tuberculosis is a very important disease that needs proper handling through adequate laboratory investigations and treatment not only for the sake of the patient, but also to prevent spreading the infection to the neighbours.

In view of this, it is important to carry out detailed laboratory investigations such as sputum examination and Chest Xray investigations. Once the diagnosis is made, treatment at Government designated TB centres are free.
