The Informed Northern Youths Forum (INYF) has expressed its displeasure with attacks on President Tinubu by Nigerian-Chinese blogger Dan-Bello, who alleged that the President owns several oil companies worldwide.
Following a meeting in Kano, Ambassador Yusuf Shamsudeen, Director General of the Forum, stated, “These claims are nothing short of defamation and a blatant attempt to tarnish the President’s reputation.”
He continued, “We are gathered here to address a serious issue that threatens the integrity of our nation’s leadership.
Dan Bello has circulated a thread of videos online making false allegations against President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other honorable compatriots.”

According to Shamsudeen, the allegations falsely claim that the President owns Agip and Raz Oil and Gas and personally benefits from Nigeria’s fuel subsidy scheme.
It is also alleged that his relatives hold positions on the boards of these companies. “We categorically deny these baseless accusations,” he asserted.
The INYF has conducted thorough investigations and possesses concrete evidence refuting these claims.
The group announced, “We will reveal the truth behind these allegations in the coming weeks, exposing the lies and machinations of Dan Bello and his sponsors.”
Ambassador Yusuf also stated, “We will lead efforts to identify and apprehend Dan Bello and his sponsors, both within and outside the country, ensure their extradition to Nigeria, and bring them to justice for their defamatory actions.”
He urged the public to remain vigilant and discerning in the face of misinformation, adding, “Let us unite in upholding the truth and protecting the integrity of our nation’s leadership.
To Dan Bello and his sponsors, we say: your attempts to discredit our President will not succeed. You will face the full weight of the law.”
