The Vice-Principal of Junior Secondary School (JSS), Yebu in Kwali Area Council, Mohammed Nuhu, has been abducted.
According to a teacher, who spoke under the condition of anonymity, the kidnappers wielding sophisticated weapons invaded the staff quarters of the school on Saturday night.
The teacher said the kidnappers surrounded the Quarters, while the other gang members scaled the fence into the compound from where they broke into his (Vice Principal’s) apartment and whisked him away.
The teacher also said the kidnappers also the kidnappers tied down the security guard at the school gate before they forced the victim’s door open.
“In fact, even some teachers that are staying inside the Quarters were not able to come out because of the sporadic gunshots.”
When Nigerian Tribune contacted the Police Public Relations Officer of the FCT Nigeria Police Command, DSP Adeh Josephine, she said, “I’m trying to get across to the relevant people involved and will get back to you soon.”
