Olayinka Oladimeji, son of slain member, House of Representatives, who represented Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency, the late Honourable Akintola Oladimeji popularly known as Segelu, says he will build on the agricultural development template laid down by governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Mr Seyi Makinde if given the opportunity to serve.
Oladimeji, made this known recently while making known his intention to aspire for the Oyo State governorship seat.
He noted that topmost in his development agenda for the state is agriculture, he said: “Agriculture is very important to the economy such that it must be given special attention and that is why I want to make it topmost in my priority list.
“Governor Seyi Makinde is doing very well in the area of agriculture and I am very sure farmers can testify to this. So, if I am given the opportunity to serve as governor, I will do all within my reach to ensure farmers are encouraged by the way of maximum support to boost their productivity thereby ensuring food sufficiency in Oyo State, South-West Nigeria and the country as a whole.”
