The city of Lagos, as one of the fastest-growing clothing brands, Fortress Clothings is set to unveil a new office fully stocked with new collections tagged “Africa Renaissance Collection’’ in the heart of Lekki, Lagos State.
The founder and creative head of the brand, Mr. Atilola Gbenga Fortress, an agricultural economist turned fashion designer who hails from Ila-Orangun in Osun State, attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where he started the brand in 2012 as an undergraduate.
Mr. Atilola, while reminiscing on the growth of the brand, recalled that what has kept sustaining the brand is originality, noting that “we deliver pure content as ordered by the customers and also staying true to our craft of menswear fashion products ranging from suits, trad, African attire, aso oke, including urban fashion style.”
“We have been able to style different people all over the world, but to mention a few, we have worked with the likes of Asake, Lexie Armani, Woli Arole, Sage Ayansola, Yhemo Lee, Fireboy, and other fantastic creatives across industries and career paths.”
He, however, shared some interesting news about the opening ceremony and launch of new collections scheduled to take place on April 7 at Lekki-Ajah, Lagos State, “where we will celebrate our customers, partners, and our artistry of over a decade in the fashion industry. We will be showcasing new collections for sale.”
“The new collections tagged Africa Renaissance tell the fore story of how Africa shall overcome the current challenge confronting the continent and also achieve cultural, scientific, and economic renewal.
