As the Drug Procurement Officer and Superintendent Pharmacist at Drugscope Pharmaceuticals, she led efforts to maintain a steady supply of essential medications despite global and national shortages and supply chain disruptions.

By implementing an efficient supply chain management strategy, Fadojutimi’s pharmacy outlet became a cynosure as she maintained an optimum inventory level, catering to drug needs for COVID-19 symptoms and other chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes.

“We knew early on that the pandemic would create significant hurdles for medication procurement,” Fadojutimi explained.

“I had to move quickly to establish reliable supplier relationships and ensure that the drugs we provided were cost-effective, despite the disruptions in global supply.”

Fadojutimi’s efforts extended beyond her pharmacy as she shared her procurement strategies with other community pharmacies in Ogun State, helping them navigate supply chain challenges and ensuring no health facility was left without essential medications.
