House of Reps-elect, Makanjuola, commissions 3 projects in Surulere LG

Hon Ojo Sunday Makanjuola, also known as SMATO, the newly elected member of the House of Representatives for the Ogooluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency of Oyo State, has commissioned some personally-funded community development projects.

The projects were commissioned at different wards in Surulere Local government on Monday. Where the Rep-elect commissioned a Modernized Borehole water dispenser at Ogunba, Bayaoje ward.

SMATO also commissioned a Newly installed Transformer at Igbon/Gambari ward. Likewise, a rural electrification initiative was equally commissioned at Iwofin ward in six villages, Surulere local government.

While reiterating his commitment to his campaign promises, he disclosed that his constituency will experience massive people-oriented projects after the inauguration of the 10th Assembly.

He said: “The projects that have been commissioned are merely the tip of the iceberg because I am so committed to the welfare of my constituency.

“The new development makes me happy. As a result, I want to reassure you that I won’t betray your trust in me by electing me as your House of Reps member for the 10th Assembly.

“The good people of Oyo state have truly felt the impact of Governor Seyi Makinde’s good leadership. So, this is just the beginning of many more initiatives that would complement his work in the Ogooluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency SMATO added that the constituency will experience a great turnaround with many projects in the next four years.
