Al-Shaykh Dr Husayn bn Abdulaziz Ály Shaykh gave the admonition on Monday while addressing Muslim pilgrims across the globe who assembled at Mount Arafat, in fulfilment of their obligatory hajj rites.
Delivery his sermon before he led the combined shortened prayers of Dhur and Asr, the cleric reminded the pilgrims of their obligation to worship no one other than Allah, and further dwelt extensively on the pillars of Islam, societal relationships in the areas of marriages, trades and politics.
He declared that Islam frowns at any act that causes disaffection, hatred and acrimony among people, while it encourages mediation among quarrelling parties.
Shaykh Dr Husayn bn Abdulaziz Ály Shaykh admonished Muslims to be of the best of character and discipline.

He further submitted that the day of Arafat is a day that supplications are answered as he noted that it is a day Allah, the Highest is pleased and proud of those who stand on the plains Arafat to worship Him.
He reminded the Pilgrims the importance of this day and the plains of Arafat, saying, they should make good use of the opportunity of being in the Holy Land to glorify Allah, pray, repent and ask for Allah’s forgiveness and favours.
Shaykh Dr Husayn bn Abdulaziz further called on the Pilgrims not to forget in their supplications, their families, loved ones, their Countries and anyone that had done them favours in the past.
Monday Arafat day, a core aspect of the Hajj duties witnessed by over two million pilgrims across the world commenced with their gathering on the plains of Arafat, staying on the plains and departure to Muzdallifah before sunset.
According to Muslim scholars, it was on this plains that Adam and Hauwa (Eve) were reunited after, their expulsion from Jannah (Heaven), for eating the forbidden fruits.
It is a day not only for Pilgrims but for even those who have not been opportune to come for the Hajj exercise, as they are enjoined to fast on the day, pray, glorify Allah, do righteous deeds, repent and ask for Allah’s forgiveness and favours, as the Pilgrims did.
