A daring gunman has abducted four persons, including a medical personnel, in Mayo Kila, a village near the Nigeria-Cameroon border in Jada Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
According to intelligence sources, the attack occurred around 1:30 a.m. on February 17, when the gunmen stormed the village, taking the residents unaware.

The Adamawa State Police Command has confirmed the incident, stating that a distress call was received around 3:30 a.m., prompting an immediate security response. “Upon receiving the report, operatives visited the scene, and a joint team of police officers and local hunters has been deployed to ensure the safe rescue of the victims and the apprehension of the culprits,” a police source disclosed.
The police command has also detailed its Anti-Kidnapping Unit to conduct a discreet investigation into the incident, while security patrols have been intensified in the area to prevent further attacks.
