A group, the Buhari Osinbajo Hope Movement (BOHM), has lauded wife of the president, Hajiya Aisha Buhari; the wife of Lagos State Governor, Mrs. Bolanle Ambode and other governors’ wife that stormed Ibadan, the Oyo State capital for the South- West Women and Youth Presidential campaign rally by identifying the significant role of women and the youth in political campaigns and also factoring them into the presidential campaign.
National Coordinator of BOHM, Mr. Seyi Bamigbade, gave the commendation in a statement made available to newsmen, saying they all deserved to be commended for the zeal they brought into the political arena.
He said Aisha Buhari, who was represented by wife of Vice President, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo, had demonstrated her moral probity as the conscience of the country by speaking out when necessary, even though it affected her immediate family.
“BOHM has covered all segments of voters in all the units across the country and had since adopted door to door campaign strategy across the country,” he said.

According to him, the Buhari Osinbajo Hope Movement joined President Muhammadu Buhari in campaign in 2015 because of the laudable empowerment programmes the All Progressives Congress planned for Nigerians, which will take them to the Next Level.
“These programmes are now being implemented by the Federal Government through the office of the vice president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, and we don’t want a stop to such laudable programmes that would lift many Nigerians out of poverty,” Bamigbade said, urging women and youth across the country to vote for Buhari and other APC candidates at all levels in coming elections.
Speaking further, Bamigbade described Mrs. Ambode as a role model and shining star in political firmament , describing her as a detribalized Nigerian who had traversed the length and breadth of the country, helping the less- privileged people and seeking the emancipation of women and the youths for an egalitarian society through her pet project, Hope for Women in Nigeria Initiative (HOFOWEM).
“Mrs. Bolanle Ambode is a detribalised Nigerian who has traversed the length and breadth, helping less privileged people, seeking the emancipation of women and the youths for an egalitarian society through her pet project, Hope for Women in Nigeria Initiative (HOFOWEM),” he said.
Also speaking at the rally, Mrs Bolanle Ambode assured the president that Nigerians would deliver more votes for him come February 16.
She said the APC-led government had executed laudable projects in the country, saying the electorates would no doubt re-elect the party in the subsequent elections.
She appealed to the electorate to vote massively for the president in the presidential election as they did in 2015 in order to sustain the Buhari’s initiated social intervention programmes in the country.
Mrs. Ambode said the president would not disappoint Nigerians, adding that the country is set to move to the next level.
According to her, Buhari has been and still very much committed to the Nigerian project geared towards lifting the country to greater height where all categories of Nigerians would live a meaningful life.
