This is a distress call to Governor Seyi Makinde by the residents of Oluyole (Industrial) Estate, Ring Road, Ibadan. Our estate, which is one of the largest, if not the largest residential cum industrial estate in the country, is in dire need of government’s immediate intervention. The main entrance road to the estate, which is by Mobil filling station of Ring Road, is split into two major roads namely Alaafin Avenue and Olubadan Avenue (7up Road).
Send ministerial list to EFCC, PDP urges Senate
While the former is in an excellent, sane state with a bridge and side walkways up till its Apata end, the latter is a shadow of what a good road should look like and an eyesore to motorists plying the road daily. This road has been in this state for close to 15 years now. This road leads to the main hub where numerous factories and industries are located in the estate hence, its strategic importance to the socio-economic development of our dear state.
We hereby call on Governor Seyi Makinde to come to our aid and fix this strategic road.
Tola Akinwumi,
Ibadan.
