Humanitarian group, Toyosi Akure BAO Foundation has congratulated its founder, Stephen Toyosi Akure on his conferment with Doctorate Degree (Honoris Causa) in Human Capital Development by EDEXCEL University Port-Novo, Benin Republic.
Mr Akure who is based in the United States of America will join other prominent Nigerians for the award and investiture ceremony on the 7th of November, 2023 at the Sultan Bello Hall, University of Ibadan, Oyo State.
The conferment will coincide with the annual Prof Ode Emmanuel Colloquium, International Conference, Award and Investiture ceremony.
In a statement issued by the Foundation’s Chairman, Hon Francis Gbenga Ogungbemi, and made available to this reporter, the award is well deserved and serves as recognition of Akure’s contributions to the upliftment of the less privileged in the society.
He described Akure as an impactful and highly enterprising young man, a humanitarian and philanthropist per Excellence. He described the group’s founder as a youth emancipator, who is highly respected among his peers, humble and an exemplary role model to the youth.
Ogungbemi lauded the several and numerous contributions of Akure to humanity especially in the education sector as commendable.
He congratulated Akure and wished him a successful investiture.
Ogungbemi said the latest recognition no doubt will serve as an elixir for further action in his unequalled efforts to lift the less privileged.

Toyosi Akure BAO Foundation is a non-governmental and non profiting organization, set up with sole purpose of reaching out to the less privileged members of the society including widows, orphans, and students as well as helpless youth with a vision to ensuring poverty reduction through children, youth and women empowerment.
