FOGDEV (Focus on Growth and Development), a non-governmental organisation (NGO), has trained 2,000 individuals in crucial digital skills through two transformative programmes.
Between August 26th and September 6th, 2024, FOGDEV offered two programmes designed to cater to the different needs of stay-at-home mothers and creatives.
The Digital Marketing for Stay-at-Home Moms programme provided hands-on training in social media management, online business strategies, and digital monetisation techniques for stay-at-home moms to develop practical skills that enhance their online presence and create new income opportunities from home.
Similarly, its Content Creation Programme 1.0 focused on aspiring creatives that are eager to excel in the digital space as they learned how to craft compelling narratives, produce high-quality content, and effectively share their work with a global audience.
The programme was designed to nurture creativity and provide the skills necessary to make a significant impact online.
According to FOGDEV, these initiatives have sparked a new wave of digital empowerment, equipping participants with the tools and confidence to thrive in the digital world.
By addressing diverse needs and fostering growth, FOGDEV said it is driving substantial progress in digital literacy and opportunity.
The NGO also reaffirmed its commitment to offering more training opportunities for more people to benefit from.
